Install

1

Install the solver

Run OmnibusCloud-Solver-1.1.2-beta-win-x64.msi. It installs for your user only, with no administrator rights, and finds the CalculiX that comes with PrePoMax. On a machine without CalculiX, take the installer with CalculiX bundled instead.

2

Start OmnibusCloud Solver from the Start menu and sign in with your browser, using the same account as this portal. The window shows where your solves will run, and its Doctor checks the setup.

3

Point PrePoMax at it

In PrePoMax, open Tools ▸ Settings ▸ Solver and set CalculiX ▸ Executable to omnibuscloud-solver.exe (in PrePoMax 2.5: Tools ▸ Settings ▸ Calculix ▸ Executable). The solver's Host setup page copies the full path for you. You do this once.

4

Run as usual

Press Run. A heat-transfer analysis the cloud supports is solved on OmnibusCloud and comes back as ordinary PrePoMax results; anything else runs on local CalculiX. The monitor says which, and why.
