1. Who we are

OmnibusCloud is operated by Dmitry Ratner, an individual based in Israel, who is the controller of the personal data processed through the Service. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and the rights you have.

2. Data we collect

• Identity & account — provided through WitIdentity (such as your email, user ID, and sign-in method).
• Profile — what you add on the portal (display name, avatar, bio, city, privacy preferences).
• Device & hardware — reported by the Client (CPU/GPU model, RAM, OS, core counts), used to match tasks and show network capacity.
• Contribution & usage — tasks, compute time, and the groups and projects you join.
• Technical — IP address, logs, approximate location from IP, and basic analytics.
• Communications — what you send us, for example through the contact form.

We do not collect payment data — the Service is free.

3. Why we use data and legal bases

• To provide and operate the Service — performance of our agreement with you.
• To match tasks to devices and show contribution in the community — our legitimate interest in running the platform.
• To secure the Service and prevent abuse — our legitimate interest.
• To send service notifications — performance of our agreement / legitimate interest.
• Where required, with your consent — for example, certain cookies.

4. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in, security, and your language and theme preferences. We do not use advertising cookies. You can control cookies in your browser, but disabling necessary cookies may break sign-in.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with: service providers that help us run the Service (such as WitIdentity for identity and our hosting and email providers), acting on our instructions; and authorities where required by law. Aggregated, non-identifying figures (such as total network capacity) may be shown publicly.

6. International transfers

We and our providers may process data in Israel and other countries. Where data is transferred out of the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

7. Retention

We keep personal data while your account is active and as needed to operate the Service, comply with the law, and resolve disputes. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where the law requires us to keep it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encryption in transit. Sign-in credentials are held by WitIdentity. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including the GDPR for users in the EEA), you may access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your data, request portability, and withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

You can view, edit, and delete much of your data directly in the portal, and account deletion is handled through WitIdentity. To exercise other rights, use our contact form and choose the "Privacy" topic.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.
