WitSweep starts as a 30-day demo the first time it runs on a computer. There is no key to enter and nothing to register: every feature is open, OpenFOAM and Nastran included, and a study can have up to 8 variants. The window shows the days left.

When the demo ends, WitSweep keeps your studies and results: they open, read and export as before, and only new runs stop.

For a full license, contact us. It is installed in Settings › Licence from a file, with no internet connection needed.

The OmnibusCloud client, the Solver for PrePoMax and the ParaView plugin are free and need no license.

Install

1

Run the installer

Run WitSweep-1.7.4-beta-win-x64.msi. It needs no administrator rights: it installs for you alone, adds WitSweep to the Start menu, and opens .witsweep study files on a double-click.

2

Start WitSweep, open the account menu in the top right corner and click Sign in: the system browser opens for a secure sign-in, and the session is remembered. In Settings › General, pick the group or project your studies run on.

3

Open a model

Drop a CalculiX deck, a Nastran deck, an OpenFOAM case or a folder of them onto the window. Click a highlighted value, choose Sweep this value, give it a list or a range, and press Run.

4

Read the results

One row per variant, a scatter, exports to CSV, XLSX and HTML. Open any variant in PrePoMax or ParaView.

One license for the whole computer: installed on Windows, on macOS or from the .deb, a license serves every user of the computer. From the .zip it is kept for your user only.

What's next

The getting-started guide walks through a first study on a CalculiX deck and on an OpenFOAM case, from opening the model to the results in PrePoMax and ParaView.
